A small studio that ships real things.
Keystone Analytics is a US software studio registered in Austin, Texas, with clients and projects in the United States and the Philippines. We build native mobile apps, public data tools, and independent research, and we run the full stack behind each one.
How we got here
The studio started as a mobile engineering practice: eight years of Android and iOS work in industries where failure has consequences, from continuous glucose monitors to crash detection. In 2025 that turned into building whole systems from scratch. First an emergency dispatch platform for the Philippines, then the apps, directories, storefronts, and research tools you can find on this site.
The common thread is data that has to be right. An emergency number that rings a disconnected line is worse than no number. A rink directory that lists a closed rink sends a family on a two-hour drive. So most of our engineering effort goes into verification, pipelines, and tests, and most of our product decisions come from the phone calls those pipelines force us to make.

Operating principles
- Constraints before code. We write down what is out of scope before what is in. Most failed projects died of scope, not bugs.
- Verify, then publish. Every contact in AidNow was phoned. Every rink in Pennsylvania is being called. Data without a verification step is a rumour.
- Prefer boring tech. Postgres, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python. Exotic stacks only when they pay for themselves.
- Short loops. Weekly deliverables and a working build at every step. Surprises should be small and early.
- Publish the misses. The research page includes the audit we could not score. That is a result, and hiding it would be the real failure.
Team
Zack Robinson Founder, engineering
Eight years building native mobile apps where failure had consequences: healthcare (Dexcom, CVS/Aetna), crash detection (CCC), logistics (JJ Keller), streaming (STARZ), and quick-service (McDonald's). Primarily Android with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, now iOS with Swift and SwiftUI as well. The problems that mattered were operational: incident triage, release discipline, and figuring out why something broke at 2 AM.
Since 2025 he has been building full-stack systems from scratch, for US and Philippine clients: an emergency dispatch platform, public data directories, a storefront, and market research tooling. He works in an AI-assisted development workflow (Claude Code, Codex) gated by tests and code review, which is how a small studio ships like a larger one.
Outside the editor he is a TDI/SDI certified Divemaster, which is where TRIM, the studio's scuba simulation platform and instructor aid, comes from.
Christopher Farmer Legal and compliance
Legal and compliance executive with an LL.M. in Legal Practice (International Law) and eight years across governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, contract lifecycle management, and risk mitigation. Built "compliance by default" programmes across eight operational sites with a 100% audit pass rate, secured and managed over £500,000 in public funding, and led a COVID-era digital transformation that cut operational costs by 30%.
His dissertation on economic and cyber warfare received full marks and four doctoral research offers. He advises on cross-border regulatory navigation, venture structuring, and AI-assisted compliance workflows.
