Storefronts and booking systems
Take the order, the payment, and the address. Without the chat window.
We build working storefronts and booking systems for small businesses that have outgrown selling over chat: checkout that clears, addresses a courier can deliver to, and totals that reconcile. You own the accounts and the code.
This is for you if
- You sell over Messenger, WhatsApp, or Instagram today and every order is a conversation.
- You cannot take cards, or the card options you have do not fit your customers (GCash, Maya, local couriers).
- You rent things out (bikes, rooms, gear) and double-bookings happen.
- Shopify or Square almost fits, but the payments, shipping, or address rules in your market do not.
Probably not if
- A catalogue of thousands of SKUs with a warehouse behind it. That is an ERP conversation, and we will say so.
- A shop where Shopify already does the job. If it does, use it. We will tell you on the first call.
What you get
Catalogue and product pages
Your products, variants, and prices, editable without a developer.
Checkout that clears
Cards through Stripe or PayMongo, plus GCash and Maya where your customers are. Prices computed server-side, in integer cents, so the totals reconcile.
Addresses that deliver
Validation against the real address data for your market (43,000 PSGC codes in the Philippines), so the courier can find the door.
Shipping quotes
Live courier rates with a manual fallback when the carrier API blinks. Free-delivery zones if you want them.
Orders and receipts
An admin view of every order, email receipts, and an audit trail of who changed what.
Hosting in your name
Vercel and a Postgres database on your own accounts. You hold the keys and the code.
Tests and a runbook
Automated tests around money and stock, and a written runbook so the shop is maintainable without us.

U-Ride Bike Rental
A rental shop that handled every booking over chat. Now riders pick a bike and dates, pay a deposit online, and the bike is waiting.
- 8 bikes, live availability
- Card, GCash, and Maya deposits
- No double-bookings
Doctor Directory
Not a shop, but the same bones: public read, admin-gated writes, a weekly calendar, and a full audit log.
- 5 hospitals
- 40+ doctors
- Audit trail
How it goes
- A 30-minute call. What you sell, how orders reach you today, and where the money leaks. If an off-the-shelf tool fits, that is the answer and the call is free.
- Scope and a fixed quote, in writing. What is in, what is out, and the milestones. Most storefronts are scoped within a week of the call.
- First working checkout early. A real order with a real payment on a test card in the first milestone, not a mockup.
- Launch, then hand over. Your accounts, your code, a runbook, and a retainer if you want us on call.
Questions we get
Why not just use Shopify?
Often you should, and we will say so on the first call. We build custom when the payments, couriers, or address rules in your market do not fit the platform, when you rent rather than sell, or when the shop has to plug into a system you already run.
What does it cost?
A fixed price, quoted in writing after the call, based on the catalogue size and the integrations. Hosting runs on your own accounts and is typically under $30 a month for a shop this size (Vercel Pro at $20, a free-tier Postgres, and the domain).
Who owns the code and the accounts?
You do. Payment provider, hosting, database, and repository are all in your name from day one. If we disappeared tomorrow, the shop keeps running.
What do you need from me?
Products with prices and photos, the payment account (we help you set it up), your courier account if you have one, and someone who can answer questions within a day during the build.
Which payment methods can you take?
Cards anywhere through Stripe or PayMongo. In the Philippines, GCash and Maya through PayMongo. Deposits with the balance settled in person, as U-Ride does, are supported too.
How long does it take?
Scoping takes about a week. Build length depends on the catalogue and integrations and is part of the written quote. We ship in weekly milestones, so you see a working shop early rather than at the end.
Ready to stop taking orders by hand?
Send a few lines about what you sell and how orders reach you today. We reply within a day.
